This is how I want to celebrate my 26th birhday. My friends, a lovely cake and the coolest outfit ever.
The agony is exquisite, is it not? A broken heart. You think you will die. But you just keep living. Day after day, after terrible day. — Miss Havisham (via blank-shore)

Holy shit, Abraham Lincoln was the original hipster. Forget “Honest Abe,” after 4 pints of Schlitz this presidential doppelganger never had an issue getting a first (or second) lady to come back to his log cabin.
Thanks to Amelia for the awesome photo.
I want to lost myself in this place. It’s magical, it’s perfect!

It’s a curious thing, the death of a loved one.We all know that our time in this world is limited, and that eventually all of us will end up underneath some sheet, never to wake up. And yet it is always a surprise when it happens to someone we know. It is like walking up the stairs to your bedroom in the dark, and thinking there is one more stair than there is. Your foot falls down, through the air, and there is a sickly moment of dark surprise as you try and readjust the way you thought of things. — Lemony Snicket. (via nolongerinteresting)

Dear Claire,
“What” and “If” are two words as non-threatening as words can be. But put them together side-by-side and they have the power to haunt you for the rest of your life: What if? What if? What if? I don’t know how your story ended but if what you felt then was true love, then it’s never too late. If it was true then, why wouldn’t it be true now? You need only the courage to follow your heart. I don’t know what a love like Juliet’s feels like - love to leave loved ones for, love to cross oceans for but I’d like to believe if I ever were to feel it, that I will have the courage to seize it. And, Claire, if you didn’t, I hope one day that you will.
All my love, Juliet
